This month’s Project.12 theme was “sweet”. I had a few different ideas and sadly my first choice didn’t really show what I was wanting it to-photograph wise. Oh well, that’s the challenge that I’m enjoying with this Project.12. Thinking outside of how I usually shoot AND shooting my family more. And sometimes new ideas don’t work out, but I love to challenge myself! It’s fun continuing to learn:) In fact on a side-note, I’ll be heading to Vegas next month (with some lovely ladies, Amber, Emily, and Lori) attending WPPI to focus on growing, improving, networking, and learning:) SO excited!
So I chose this picture for “sweet”. This is our sweet AJ enjoying Cupid’s Crazy Cafe-to be explained down below:) This boy (along with all our loves) is so near and dear to us. He has one of most tender and kind hearts I’ve ever met. He is soft spoken, genuine, and is joyful. This. Boy. Is. Sweet.
Our Valentine’s Day was WONDERFUL! I spent some time on one of my favorite websites: The Dating Divas. You have to go check out their site! It is full of crazy, awesome ideas and ways to love better. And that’s where we were introduced to Cupid’s Crazy Cafe. What a great idea to love on your kids a little too for V Day! It’s a lover’s holiday, but as their mommy, I want to teach my boys how to love. I know that sounds weird, but I don’t want them looking to movies, TV, or the world for their “How to be a man training”. Plus it was a blast! Who doesn’t love a little crazy from time to time- or in our household daily:) Hope your Valentine’s Day was beautiful!
